Can I use IPL hair removal over scars and tattoos?

We don’t recommend using IPL over scars or tattoos directly because it causes heat build and pain in these areas. However, it is acceptable to use IPL to treat areas around tattoos. It's advisable to maintain a distance of roughly 0.2 to 0.5 inches from tattoos/moles.
